Wake up to clear, comfortable vision without eyeglasses, surgery, or conventional contact lenses.
Ortho-K: a safe, inexpensive alternative to refractive surgery
Ortho-K is the controlled reshaping of the cornea to eliminate refractive errors by using specially designed rigid gas-permeable contact lenses. Lenses are worn overnight and removed upon waking, providing clear unaided visual acuity for all waking hours.

For us, a successful result is achieving all-day visual acuity without lenses, with minimal or no corneal, eyelid, and conjunctival health issues.

The FDA has determined that Ortho-K is a safe and effective procedure for the temporary reduction of myopia.
Ortho-K (short for Orthokeratology) goes by several different names, among them Corneal Molding, Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT), and “eye retainers.” Developed over the past 50 years, Ortho-K has gained wide recognition as a safer and less expensive alternative to LASIK refractive surgery. Ortho-K lenses are designed for people of all ages to temporarily eliminate myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. Most exciting, it is used to control the progression of myopia in children and teens.
